Gonna go to sleep. Gonna tape Bush's speech in an hour and a half. I'm an emotional wreck. I need sleep, or I'll be dead tomorrow.

Have been playing One on endless repeat for the past few hours. Drowning out CNN. If I hear much more talk about retaliation and revenge, I will scream. I think I'll leave the song on through the night. Don't wanna face the silence.

I want to go to sleep, and when i wke up, I want my world to make sense again.

Since I got home from school, I've just been sitting in a chair, shaking, and listening to One over and over and over. There's something about that song that just seems... appropriate, I suppose. The only thing about a tragedy like this is that it really does unify people.

I'll go back to shaking silently now. You get some sleep, doll. *big hugs*

What do you propose? Americans should just shrug their shoulders at the whole situation? I mean, cmon, we're talking thousands dead and you're not even interested holding the responsible accountable for their actions? Its spineless politics like that which cause these problems to begin with. To quote a Boortz talking point, "Bullies love to pick on big guys who won't fight back." Your beloved Lord and Savior Bill Clinton could have taken out bin Laden (and possibly prevented this, assuming bin Laden is responsible), but instead he was too busy bombing pill factories in Afghanistan and telling half-truths about his affairs and abuse of power.
