Bah

How come I can write a 14K email like *snap* that, but a 14K story would be a miracle?

Non fiction...

Because non fiction is easier to write since it is true and has a different reason to be written than fiction. It's easier to write long explanation and provide suplimental information when trying to educate. Quoting becomes a lot more aplicable in e-mail which also eats up space... and e-mail is more a form of social interaction, direct social interaction, which means conveying ideas clearly.

It's just easier to do :o) I can rarely do one liners anywhere.

You could be right. Give me a topic I have an opinion about and I'll happily ramble away 5 000 words, but a story? I'm glad when that comes to 3 000. Sigh. Still hate it, though.
