Good: My printer arrived yesterday, wheee! And I was smart and got paper and labels for it so I can test it and print out my address labels for my Christmas cards.
Bad: The delivery person left it just sitting there in front of my door. Which, yeah, it saves me a trip to pick it up, but it also risks having it stolen.WTF?

Also, I want it noted for the record that the boys of my acqauintance are annoyingly difficult to find presents for. Grrr, I say!

Mostly for my own reference: Things To Do Before I Go To Belgium

  • Get Christmas presents for everybody;
  • Write Christmas cards;
  • Mail cards and presents that need mailing;
  • Give presents to local people so they can open them on Christmas Eve;
  • Clean, put up Christmas tree and decorations, etc.;
  • Join a gym;
  • Get hair done properly, either by a pro or by a friend, and dye it some funky colour;
  • Finish, or at the very least continue, the Jayne!Wingfic;
  • Burn WoW US to CD so I can play from my mum's house and avoid going bugfuck insane;
  • Get my yearly physical checkup done, or at least booked;
  • Update my Google Calendar so I can keep track of things like I should;
  • [This space left blank to add the gazzilion things I'm forgetting at the moment.]

I spent a whole evening hand-writing all the envelopes for my Christmas cards. You have the right idea.

The postmen in the part of East London where I lived from 1998-2004 were terrible for just dumping parcels on the doorstep. I once had a CD stolen from there - found the ripped packaging dumped in the street.

Especially since my handwriting? Not the best, to say the least.
