For some reason, whenever I'm doing outbound calls in English, I roll my Rs a whole lot more than in normal speech. I sound weird. But then, I'm already developing a nice reputation for weirdness, between the knitting and my armwarmers (cheap and fugly organge-with-multicoloured-stripes things I wear mostly to hide the even fuglier wrist braces underneat, and to keep my hands warm), so this is nothing new.

Eeee! Just had an e-mail from the lovely lady at the Woolly Workshopm and my Denises are in and being shipped this afternoon! Which means I should be getting them on Monday, probably. Bweeee!

Oh! Co-worker just reminded me the skating rink is opening this evening, and this year I actually have my skates with me, so yay! Now, to find out how much it costs and when it's actually open ...

I need to make a list of things I want/need to knit, before I start losing track of it all.
