I'm baaaack! I have cable! TV! Internet! OMG! *runs around in little circles*

In the last six or so hours, I've downloaded and/or installed Firefox, Thunderbird, assorted extensions for same, about two dozen Windows updates, updates for various other programmes, and two thousand five hundred e-mails. Um, yeah. I only wish I were kidding. Oy vey.

Somebody come poke me on IM?

[ETA]Also, [livejournal.com profile] ladyjaida mentioned something called The Letter Game:

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: A letter game involves the exchange of written letters, or e-mails, between two or more participants. The first player writes a letter in the voice of a newly created character; in this first letter, the writer should establish her own identity and that of her correspondent, should set the scene, and should explain why she and her correspondent must communicate in written fashion. In subsequent letters, plot and character can be developed, but the writers should not talk about plot outside of the letters and the characters should never meet. Letter games can be a writing exercise or a role playing game.

Would anyone be interested in this? It would be non-fanfic, obviously, but otherwise I'm open for suggestions.

maybe i should post this in my actual writing journal ...[/ETA]

Whee! Welcome to the Internet! Again. ;-)

Letter game, yes. I love playing that. Though I can be an unreliable correspondant. Hey, a community? In which we establish a cast of several characters who write to one another? That could be confusing in a fun way.

I'd be interested. Looks fun.

Yay for internets!

Patricia Wrede and Caroline Stevermeyer published a book they wrote using the Letter Game.

Heeeey!

Does that mean handwriting ? My handwriting sucks, I tend to write what I think and I change my mind a lot. I make sentences of over 10 lines, including like 20 comma's, before going back and turning it into some more sentences. Moral of the story: Unless you'd want to read and reply to something full of scrappings and removings (or I find me some typp-ex). I'd say I'd rather not. If it can be typed however, or better, sent over email, I'd be willing to try.

Second, the current IM I seem to have of you appears unpokable. Bed time ? Or wrong IM address ? I've only got msn messenger.

I would, I would! If only because I've been in a writing drought lately and I need a muse.
