There was a note through my door as I came home yesterday from my landlady's brother-in-law. I was a bit worried (I never had contact with the brother-in-law, and feared something had happened to the landlady--yes, I'm a worrywart), but it turned out that they suspected a leak in my flat that was leaking into the store below. The guy dropped by for a look, and sure enough, turns out the pipe leading to the bath's hot water faucet is leaking.

We put a pint glass under it, which I replaced by the biggest mixing bowls I could fit under there after the glass filled up within the hour, and even the bowl fills up in four hours or so. Eeek. Mr Brother-in-law should cope by today with the plumber, which means I had to do a bit of emergency cleaning yesterday, doing the dishes and making sure there's no underwear accidentally left on the floor anywhere.

*yawn* God, I'm so not awake yet.

Dude, you're in [Wikipedia] (see under "Timeline of Events in the History of Slash"). That's kind of... amazing.

1976: According to the National Library of Australia, the Star Trek Action Committee was formed as a Star Trek Club. This Star Trek Club held its first meeting in April. Members included Susan Clarke, Julie Townsend and Edwina Harvey. This fanclub would publish the Star Trek adult fanzine, containing both het and slash, Beyond Antares.

Touched by greatness! I've been hugged by some of these ladies!

It's a small small world sometimes. :-)

Congrats!
