ETA: Have been reduced to doing my nails, like I'm some sort of girl or something. Oh, wait ... Actually, my nails are on the long side for one. I'm hoping to be able to keep them that way for a while. They look nice.

Don't worry. There will be another internet. Preznit Bush, in his debate on Friday, made mention of "rumors on the internets", and all the folks with whom I was watching the debate -- all of them computer geeks -- were howling with laughter.

I heard about that! I don't really need to own a TV anymore, everything eventually gets to my friends page eventually. :D Internets! Poland! Bwahahaha! (And did I hear he talked over the moderator? That's a pretty serious thing over in the US, innit?)

He didn't just talk over the moderator, he *shouted* over him, and leapt out of his seat like he was going to attack or something. Frankly, I was scared for the guy. In the end, he just came across looking like a shouting bully, which is what he is.

Yeah, even here, where the only debates we have are on TV shows, and people do tend to get uppity with the moderators/presenters sometimes, shouting would be ... bad PR.
