... And that was it. Just the movie left to watch and then I'll be done. And I will hopefully at one point get actually coherent about the whole thing.

Obviously, today is not, etc.

Yes, thanks. (Ignore the fact that I went looking for the books after work today. Ahem.)

My brain and heart are somewhat shredded to pieces.

And BTW, I still disagree about Lennier. He is NOT a bastard!

He so is! It doesn't matter that he went back or not - that one act destroys anything good he could do. How could you possibly trust him again, knowing the level of obsession he has over Delenn?

People that obsessed can get really dangerous. It's not a huge step from letting Sheriden die to actively killing people, and it's not a huge step from that to killing Delenn.

He's a scary fucked-up freak, and a dick.

The prosecution rests. ;o)

But there's a difference between obsessiveness (and I do agree the boy needs help, there--side note: why is there no psychologist or psychiatrist on B5? Seriously) and evilness. Even taking into account that few people are even as evil as Morden or Refa and their unquenchable thirst for power, Lennier at least acknowledges that what he did was bad. He felt remorse. A truly evil character would't.

Just because it's not mentioned on screen doesn't mean there won't be a psychologist or psychiatrist on B5. On RS we have one of each, with an EarthForce psychiatrist and a civilian psychologist (who is my character).

Is Morden evil? He doesn't do what he does for power. And I never said Lennier was /evil/, I said he was a dick. :op

I'd think it'd be mentioned, considering the fucked-upness of certain characters. For one thing, I'd at least expect someone to suggest Garibaldi or Doc Franklin go there during their respective episodes.

Garibaldi says something on the order of 'I know some people who can help' to Franklin.

However, both of them are the kind of people who would want to work things out on their own, and also, scenes in a psychiatric office or a psychologist's sofa wouldn't be interesting. ;o)

Hm, good point.

Actually, I'd like to see an episode in a psychiatristès office. If nothing else, the poor man/woman must me horridly overworked on that station.

ooh. bunny. noooooo.

Unfortunately, I didn't post my RP logs as the psychologist character doing his job - the other player didn't want it to be public information.
