I need tuition...

All I ever played was Warhammer 2000, some three characters who happened to get themselves killed repeatedly (I guess the person playing them has something to do with the characters stupidity), but how does one of these go around ?

Well, we're kinda looking for experienced players, but basically, it's freeform, not really about the fighting, but about the characters and their relationships.
